The company must be intimated as soon as the occurrence of an event that may give rise to a claim. Cashless treatment facility is available in over 4,000 network hospitals located across the country. Pre-authorisation must be obtained from the company in case of cashless treatment. The insured must obtain authorisation at least 2 days before planned hospitalisation and within 24 hours in case of emergency hospitalisation.
For reimbursement claims, the insured must submit all the required documents soon after discharge from the hospital. Once the documents are submitted, the company will verify the claim and provide the settlement amount.
