    Claim Process

    The Bharti AXA car insurance claim process is quick, hassle-free and involves the following steps depending on the type of claim you have registered:

    • Cashless Claim:
      • Claim registration:
        • Inform the insurer as soon as the mishap takes place by calling on their toll-free number: 1800-103-2292 or mail them at: claims@bharti-axagi.co.in and raise a claim request.
        • Your claim will be registered by the customer care team who will also provide you with the claim registration number for all your future references.
        • File an FIR at the nearest police station and obtain a copy of the same.
      • Vehicle Repair:
        • Drive your car or get it towed to the nearest network garage and carry with you, the originals and the copies of the below-mentioned documents:
          • A claim form that is duly filled and signed by you
          • Your vehicle’s Registration Certificate
          • Your PAN card
          • Driving License of the person who was driving your vehicle during the time of the mishap.
          • Copy of the FIR you have filed
        • An authorised surveyor will be sent to the garage to assess the loss/damage. Submit the documents to the surveyor and get the copies verified against the originals.
      • Claim Settlement:
        • After the surveyor verifies the documents you have submitted, the work order to repair your vehicle will be given to the garage.
        • After your vehicle is repaired, the surveyor will conduct another inspection to assess the vehicle repairs.
        • Once the surveyor has completed his inspection, the insurer will settle the bills for the vehicle repairs done and your vehicle will be delivered.

    • Claim registration:

      • Once the surveyor has completed his inspection, you will have to pay the garage for the repairs done. Collect the invoice and payment receipt for the same and submit them to the insurer to get the amount you paid for the repairs reimbursed.

    Exclusions of Bharti AXA Car Insurance

    The claim process will not be applicable under the following circumstances:

    • General wear and tear of the vehicle due to aging
    • If the person driving the vehicle at the time of mishap is underage or without a valid driving licence
    • Electrical and/or mechanical failures
    • Damage/loss as a result of mutiny or war or nuclear risk
    • Unless the vehicle is damaged, the wear and tear of the consumables such as tyres and tubes are not considered
    • If the person is driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs
    • If a commercial vehicle is used for personal purpose and vice-versa
