With a high claim settlement ratio of 98.27%, Bharti Axa Critical Illness insurance is a policy specifically designed to cover serious illnesses. The sudden and rapid rise in the number of people suffering from these kind of illnesses has made insurance a must to cover the high costs of medical care. The Bharti Axa Critical Illness insurance policy covers as many as 20 critical ailments and has a good network of cashless hospitals across the country.
You have to meet the following conditions to be eligible for the Bharti Axa Critical Illness insurance plan:

All residents of India are eligible to purchase this plan. Also, children in an age group of 90 days to 5 years are allowed to be covered if one or both of the parents are policyholders. Those who are 45 years of age and above need to take medical tests as mandated by the insurance provider as a prerequisite before purchasing the policy.
Premium- The amount of premium paid differs for individual plans and family plans. However, in both cases, the premium is calculated based on the completed age of the policyholder. Premium should be paid in advance.

The Bharti Axa Critical Illness policy provides protection against 20 critical illnesses. You can either choose an individual plan or a family floater plan. The policy will cover hospitalization expenses on an indemnity basis, costs towards pre-hospitalization, post-hospitalization, dread disease recuperation, transplantation of organs. In case the policyholder is diagnosed with any disease, the insurance provider will be given a lump-sum amount. This benefit will be paid if the insured party survives for more than 30 days after being diagnosed.
