    • Visit the State Transport department website of Odisha - http://odishatransport.gov.in/
    • On the main page, click on ‘online services’ and choose ‘driving related services’.
    • Choose ‘new driving license’. The page will be now redirected to the official website of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
    • On the main page, choose the state you will be applying for the driving license. Choose Odisha.
    • Click on ‘apply now’ on the left-side of the screen.
    • Choose ‘new driving license’.
    • Enter your learner’s license number and date of birth and click on ‘ok’.
    • Now, download the application form - Form 5 for transport or commercial vehicles and Form 4 for private vehicles.
    • Fill in the details required in the form and upload the form with your recent passport-size photographs and relevant documents.
    • Using the application number, go on to book a slot for the driving test.
    • Print all the forms, make copies of the documents and visit the RTO on the day of the driving test.

    Offline process:

    • Visit the Regional Transport Office in your jurisdiction.
    • Procure the application form and fill all the required details.
    • Self-attest the application form and submit the required documents and recent passport-size photographs.
    • The Regional Transport Officer will then verify the submitted documents and following approval will ask you to book a slot for the driving test.
    • You will have to make the payment for the application of the driving test and appear at the RTO on the day of the driving test.

    Documents required to apply for a driving licence in Odisha

    The applicant for the four wheeler driving licence in the state of Odisha will have to submit the below-listed documents at the RTO:

Usually, if the candidate clears the driving license test, the RTO mails the driving license to the candidate’s home address within 30 days.
