HDFC ERGO car insurance cashless claim settlement process

Policyholders have to follow the steps mentioned below to register a cashless claim with the insurer:

• To register a cashless claim, policyholders have to contact the customer care unit of HDFC ERGO Car Insurance either via their number 022-62346234 or email them at care@hdfcergo.com.
• The policyholder has to then locate the nearest cashless network garage of HDFC ERGO. This can be done on the website of the insurer.
• At the cashless network garage, a representative of HDFC ERGO car insurance will survey the damages caused to the car.
• The policyholder has to then fill the claim form, self-attest the form and submit it with relevant documents as specified in the claim form
• If the claim is approved by HDFC ERGO car insurance, the policyholder will receive a SMS of the claim approval on his/her registered mobile number.
