HDFC Bank’s FASTag Program is a part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) initiative started by NPCI under the guidelines of NHAI and IHMCL for enabling effortless toll payments. Under this program, HDFC Bank will issue a reloadable FASTag through which you can make digital toll payment at toll plazas on National Highways.
This electronic device can be used at more than 420 toll plazas across State and National Highways.
HDFC Bank FASTag is a small tag enabled with Radio Frequency Identification technology (RFID) that can be used to make cashless toll transactions. When you subscribe to the FASTag program of HDFC Bank, this device will be affixed on your vehicle’s windscreen. A FASTag account will also be created and linked to your HDFC Bank savings or current account.
As soon as your vehicle enters the exclusive lane marked for FASTag users at the toll station the tag readers installed there will scan the tag and automatically deduct the toll fee from the prepaid account linked to it. Hence, before using the tag, you will have to recharge the account as required.
Steps to apply offline
Visit any of the Point of Sale (POS) locations or authorised agent sales offices of HDFC Bank to create a tag account. Ensure to drive your vehicle to the POS/agent location at the time of the purchase as the activated tag needs to be fastened on the windscreen of your vehicle by a bank representative.

1. How to block my HDFC Bank FASTag?

2. How to raise a dispute/complaint related to a FAStag transaction?
If you have any complaint related to transaction made through HDFC Bank FASTag, you can file a complaint online. The steps are as follows:

3. Can I use the same FASTag for two vehicles?
No, you can't use the same FASTag for two or more vehicles. If you have more than one vehicle you will have to buy two separate FASTag for each.
4. What will happen to my FASTag wallet balance if I lose the tag?
In such a case, you will have to call the customer care number of the bank immediately to block your FASTag. The bank will re-issue the tag for a cost of Rs.200 and link it to your existing wallet. Thus, the balance in your FASTag wallet will remain the same.
5. Whom should I complaint to if the toll collection staff misbehaves with me?
In case of misconduct or rude behaviour of the toll collection staff at the toll plaza, you should file a complaint with the concerned Project Directors at the toll plaza.
6. I am into a fleet business. Do I have to recharge all my vehicles individually
Since one FASTag wallet can incorporate multiple vehicles you will have to recharge only one wallet online for all the vehicles. You can use the balance under the wallet for all the vehicles.
