Steps to Apply for a Learner’s Licence in Bihar

A learner’s licence gives authorisation to individuals to learn how to operate four wheeler vehicles in public places. No individual is allowed to learn how to ride or drive a motorised vehicle unless they possess a learner’s licence, as per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. If you are caught learning how to operate a vehicle without a valid learner’s licence, you might be penalised for the same. Thus, make sure to approach the nearest RTO or apply online for a learner’s licence if you wish to learn how to ride/drive motor vehicles.

The learner’s licence is valid for a 6-month period. You can apply for a permanent driving licence only if you have a learner’s licence that has been issued by an RTO in the country. This article lists the steps that you will have to follow if you are applying for a learner’s licence in Bihar.
