    Recent trends in?the?Rajkot?RTO

Here are some of the recent news about the Rajkot RTO:

    • With the aim to implement the guidelines under the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2016, the city traffic police have been raising awareness about the need to wear helmets while riding a two-wheeler. Any bike rider found to ride a motorcycle without a helmet will be fined heavily and his/her licence can be suspended for up to 3 months.
    • The Gujarat state government and the traffic department have decided to keep a check on the number of auto-rickshaws plying on the roads, taking into consideration the area, population, geographical condition, and road conditions. The RTO will restrict the number of permits being issued to auto drivers to this end.

    Conclusion

The RTO offers the necessary services in order to ease the process of registration or licensing. It is important for every new vehicle owner to ensure he/she registers his/her vehicle and gets a driving licence before he/she starts driving it. In addition to the registration?certificate, individuals are mandated to carry the emission test certificate and car insurance or two-wheeler insurance policy. A person who does not carry any of these documents while driving may be fined.
