In India, traffic offences and penalties are set by the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. There are a wide range of offences related to driving any kind of vehicle that is important to know of so you can avoid mishaps and accidents that can cause injury or loss of life. These rules are common all over India but can have minor variations in each state. The traffic offences and penalties in Hyderabad are as follows:
