There are certain exclusions under Care Care Freedom policy for which the insurer is not liable to provide any compensation. Some of the key exclusions from this policy are as follows.
The claim procedure for Care Care Freedom Senior Citizen Health Insurance is pretty standard. In case of planned hospitalisation, the company must be notified 48 hours in advance. For emergency hospitalisation, the company must be notified within 24 hours after hospitalisation. For cashless treatment, pre-authorization must be obtained from the company. Care’s customer care can be contacted to know about the pre-authorization process and the network hospitals in your area.
For reimbursement claims, the insured must submit the claim form along with a list of documents related to the medical treatment. Once the claim is successfully made, the company will verify its validity and communicate the acceptance or rejection of the claim to the policyholder. In case of rejection, the insurer will communicate the reason for rejection. Following acceptance of the claim, the reimbursement amount will be provided to the insured.
