    Future Generali Car Insurance Claim Process

    The Future Generali car insurance claim process is quick and hassle-free. You can either make a cashless or a reimbursement claim depending on your convenience at the time of the mishap.

    • In case of a Cashless Claim:
      • Inform the insurer as soon as the mishap takes place and register your cashless claim request. To register your claim, call on 1800-220-233/1860-500-3333/022-67837800 or email to fgcare@futuregenerali.in or message MOTORCLAIM to 9222211100
      • Once the insurer registers your claim, an authorised Surveyor will be sent to conduct a vehicle inspection and assess the loss/damages incurred
      • Submit the relevant documents to the surveyor as requested by the customer care executive
      • The insurer after verifying the documents will approve a claim amount that will be communicated to the garage where you will be taking your car for repair
      • Once your car is repaired, the insurer will pay the garage directly for the repair work
    • In case of a Reimbursement Claim:
      • Inform the insurer as soon as the mishap takes place and register your cashless claim request. To register your claim, call on 1800-220-233/1860-500-3333/022-67837800 or email to fgcare@futuregenerali.in or message MOTORCLAIM to 9222211100
      • Once the insurer registers your claim, an authorised Surveyor will be sent to conduct a vehicle inspection and assess the loss/damages incurred
      • Submit the relevant documents to the surveyor as requested
      • After your car is repaired, you have to directly pay the garage for the repair work.
      • Collect the payment receipt and invoice from the garage and submit them to the insurer to get the amount you spent on the repairs reimbursed
      • The insurer will reimburse the amount within 7 working days after verifying the submitted documents

    Depending on the kind of liability you have incurred due to the mishap, there are certain documents and/or things to be submitted and details to be provided while processing your claim.

    • Own Damage claims
      • Insurance Certificate (original and xerox copy)
      • Claim form duly Filled and signed by you
      • The vehicle’s Registration Certificate (original and xerox copy)
      • Your Driving License (original and xerox copy)
      • Loss estimate as provided by the garage mechanic
      • Pan Card of the policyholder (original and xerox copy)
      • Aadhar Card of the policyholder (original and xerox copy)
    • Third Party Claims
      • Claim form duly filled and signed by you
      • Insurance Certificate (original and xerox copy)
      • Driving License of the person driving the vehicle at the time of the mishap (original and xerox copy)
      • Copy of the FIR filed by you
      • Copy of the Court Notice
      • The vehicle’s Registration Certificate (original and xerox copy)
      • Pan Card of the policyholder (original and xerox copy)
      • Aadhar Card of the policyholder (original and xerox copy)
    • Theft Claims
      • Insurance Policy Document (original and xerox copy)

    Xpress and Future Xpress+

    Future Generali has introduced *Future Xpress and *Future Xpress+ which are claim processes for a speedy and hassle-free claim settlement.

    • *Future Xpress Under Future Xpress, you can get your car repaired on priority for low repair costs at Future Generali authorised garages.
    • *Future Xpress+ Under Future Xpress+ you can have your damaged car checked at any of the Future Generali authorised garages to get the loss estimate and on the spot claim settlement. You can also opt to have your car repaired at a time convenient to you and at a garage of your choice. *The above-mentioned services are available only at selected garages/offices and applicable for claims with defined parameters alone.

    Exclusions of Future Generali Car Insurance

    The Future Generali car insurance claim process will not be applicable under the following circumstances:

    • If the person driving the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol/drugs
    • If the person was underage and/or didn’t have a valid driver’s licence
    • If a personal vehicle was being used for commercial purposes and vice-versa
    • If the mishap took place outside of the specified geographical location
    • Electrical/mechanical failure
    • Damage/loss due to wars or nuclear risks or mutiny
    • If the insurance policy has expired

    1. What should be done if the vehicle meets with an accident outside of the specified geographical location?

    2. Get in touch with your insurer as soon as the mishap takes place. In case you are unable to contact the insurer for some reason, take photographs of your vehicle on the spot of the mishap. File an FIR at the nearest police station too.

    3. Can I renew my car insurance policy after it expires?

    4. In case your insurance policy expires, you can still renew it after the insurer has completed your vehicle’s inspection. You might also be charged an additional premium if the insurance policy expired 45 days ago.

    5. What does a third-party car insurance policy cover?

    6. A third-party car insurance policy covers the liabilities arising from the following:

      • Injuries/death to the third party involved in the mishap
      • Damages to the third party vehicle involved in the mishap
      • Damages to external property due to the mishap
    7. What does a comprehensive car insurance policy cover?

    8. A comprehensive car insurance policy covers the following:

      • Liabilities due to injuries/damage to the third party
      • Liabilities due to vehicle damage to the third-party vehicle
      • Liabilities due to external property damage
      • Liabilities due to own injuries
      • Liabilities due to own vehicle damages
    9. What if I install a CNG/LPG kit in my vehicle?

      In case you install a CNG/LPG kit in your vehicle, you need to inform the RTO as well as the insurer as this needs to be noted in your insurance policy and you will be charged an additional premium for the same.
