The grievance redressal department of the company promises to offer the best customer service and respond to customers as soon as possible. The insurer has a 5-step grievance redressal system as mentioned below.
You are required to air your grievance in any one of the following ways:
If your grievance was not resolved, you can send a mail to the head of the customer care to head.customercare@sbigeneral.in
If you are still unhappy with the solution provided, you may write to the Chairman of the Grievance Redressal Committee. The issue will be looked into by the committee to provide a solution.
If the solution provided is unsatisfactory after following all the above-mentioned steps, you can call the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) on the toll-free number 155255. Alternatively, you can submit a complaint on the official website of IRDAI.
If you wish to further escalate the matter, you can contact the Insurance Ombudsman of the region.
