    United India Insurance Online Premium Payment Channels

    Customers of United India Insurance can choose to pay their premium through both online and offline channels. The online premium payment channels that are offered by the insurer are listed below:

    1. Online payment through the official website: Policyholders can pay their premium (both first premium and renewal premium) through the insurer’s official website by following the steps mentioned below:
      • You will first need to navigate to the insurer’s official website. Post this, you will need to click on the ‘Health Insurance’ tab in the home page. Upon clicking the ‘Health Insurance’ tab, you will see a list of drop downs.
      • To purchase a new policy and pay your first premium, you will need to click the “Get Quote & Buy” option from the drop downs. Upon clicking this option, you will be redirected to another webpage, where you will need to enter the required details. Post this, you will be able to view the premium quote. If you are satisfied with the premium quote, you can click on the “Quick Online Policy” option to being the process to purchase the policy and pay the due premium.
      • If you wish to renew your insurance policy and pay the renewal premium, you will need to click on the “Renew” option from the list of drop downs. Clicking the “Renew” option will take you to another webpage, where you will be required to enter your previous policy number to begin the renewal process.
      • Policyholders can pay the premium amount via net banking, debit card, credit card, NEFT, or RTGS.
    2. Online payment through mobile: Customers can also choose to pay the premium amount through their smartphones by way of Interbank Mobile Payments Service (IMPS). To avail this service, policyholders will need to first subscribe to the mobile banking service provided by their bank and register for IMPS. Your bank will then provide you a Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) and password for your mobile transactions (MPIN). Next, you will need to install your bank’s mobile banking application on your smartphone. Post this, you will be able to pay premiums through your smartphone. The steps that you will need to follow for the same are:
    • In the case of renewal premiums, you will simply need to navigate to the Merchant Interbank Mobile Payment Service section on your bank’s mobile banking application and key-in the merchant mobile number, merchant MMID, payment reference, amount, and MPIN.
    • For new policies, you will need to first visit the nearest branch of United India Insurance. You will then have to submit a proposal form indicating that you wish to pay premiums through your mobile. The insurer will then give you a proposal reference number for the same.
    • Next, you will have to key-in the proposal reference number in the Payment Reference section while making the premium payment.

    Paying your due premiums through online channels is secure, time-efficient, and hassle-free. However, customers can also choose to pay their premiums through offline channels if they find it more convenient.
