Steps to make premium payments through Pay Direct

    1. If the customer wishes to make a payment, they will have to click on a box which is located right below ‘Pay Direct - No registration required’. On clicking the box, they will have to choose either one of the three options which are Renewal Premium/Revival, Loan Repayment, and Loan Interest Repayment. The customer can choose the option for which they wants to make the payment.
    2. If the customer, for example, wants to pay their premiums, they can do so by clicking on ‘Renewal Premium/Renewal’, which will direct them to a separate page which will show 3 simple steps to complete the premium payment. Those three steps are customer validation, premium particulars, and payment. The customer can click on the Proceed button which will then direct them to a separate page. The same step can be followed in case of loan repayment and loan interest repayment.
    3. The first step will be customer validation. The customer will have to enter his/her policy number, date of birth, mobile number, premium amount, email ID, and a captcha for security purposes and click on ‘I Agree’ which is located on the bottom side of the page. After they are done with the formalities, he/she will have to click on the Submit button.
    4. The next two steps will require the customer to enter details related to the premiums. After validating all the required details, the customer will have to click on Check and Pay button.
    5. The final step will be to make the payment which can be made through net banking, AmEx cards, debit cards, credit cards, or e-wallets. If the customer has an account with Standard Chartered Bank and Axis Bank, he/she may pay his/her premiums from either of these two banks via UPI or BHIM. Each of the options has the Check and Pay button. Clicking on it will direct him/her to the payment portal where the customer can then make the payment.

The customer can also use the customer portal to make the payment of his/her premiums or loans. The customer will have to enter his/her personal details or sign-up if he/she does not have the necessary credentials. The person, during the sign-up process, will have to enter some details as asked and click on the Proceed button. He/she can then log-in.

Once the customer is logged in, he/she will have to click on Online Payments where they can then enter details related to his/her premiums and click on Check and Pay. The next step will be completing the transaction, where the customer can choose the payment option and make the payment.
