If you purchase a new policy from LIC, you will be given a payment receipt for the premium amount paid. You may also download this receipt directly from the company’s website. To download this receipt from the LIC website, you must be a registered user of LIC’s e-Services.

    Registering under LIC’s e-Services

    Customers can register under LIC’s portal using the following steps:

    • On the homepage, you can find a section called ‘online services’ on the left side.
    • Click on ‘customer portal’ under this section to open the LIC e-Services page.
    • On this page, click on ‘new user’ to register your policy on the customer portal.
    • On the sign-up page, enter your policy number, installment premium, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, gender, etc.
    • Once you click on the button labelled ‘proceed’, you will be taken to a new page where you can create your user ID and password.
    • A verification email will be sent to the registered email ID.
    • Upon confirming you can start using LIC’s e-Services for various things.

    Steps to download premium receipt from LIC website

    The steps involved in downloading premium receipt from LIC website are listed as follows:

    • Click on the button labelled ‘registered user’ on the LIC e-Services page.
    • Login to the portal by entering your credentials. If you don’t have an account, register yourself using the steps mentioned above.
    • Once you have logged in, you can see various details about your policy.
    • You can find two different options labelled ‘individual policy paid statement’ and ‘consolidated premium paid statement’ under your policy details.
    • Based on your requirements, you can download the premium statement for individual policies you have bought from LIC or the consolidated statement of all the premiums you have paid for a policy.
    • If you have multiple policies, you have to choose the right policy using the policy number and download the statements using the years.
    • A PDF version of the receipt can be downloaded for a specific policy. If you need a hard copy of this receipt, you can take a printout of the downloaded receipt.
