In the case of hospitalisation, the policyholder will have to follow the steps mentioned below regarding the claim procedure. In case of planned hospitalisation (at a network hospital), the policyholder has to intimate Max Bupa at least 72 hours prior to being admitted.
1. Does the Max Bupa Health Companion Family Floater come with tax benefits?
Yes, policyholders can avail tax deductions up to Rs.25,000 per year under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961. For senior citizens, the tax deduction is capped at Rs.30,000 annually.
