Customers can avail direct services from the empanelled list of cashless network garages available through Oriental insurance. To locate the nearest network garage, please log on to their website and click on the ‘Locator’ option. Then click on, ‘workshops providing cashless facility’. This will take you to the page where you can easily locate the nearest garage.
Depending on the type of incident that has occurred, the claim process will vary accordingly. In case of third-party liability, it is always wise to inform the police and file an FIR. The same applies even in the case of an accident or theft. The amount of loss needs to also be determined in case of a theft or an accident. For other types of damages caused due to natural calamities such as earthquakes, cyclones, floods, etc, you may be required to submit proof of the incident through newspaper cuttings, weather reports, and photographs of damage to claim reimbursement. In case damage is caused due to riots or other antisocial activities, reimbursement can be claimed provided an FIR is filed along with adequate proof of the incident. A fire brigade report needs to be submitted in case damages are caused due to fire or explosion.
