    You can visit the SBI general insurance website or download the app and search for your existing insurance policy that is about to expire by entering Policy No./Customer ID and Chassis No./Engine No./Registration No. Once you find the details, you can renew it online via any of the available payment options.

    • Offline:

    You can visit any of the SBI branches that offer SBI general insurance or meet with the insurance agents to renew your existing policy.

    SBI Car Insurance Claim Process

    SBI Car insurance claim process involves the following steps:

    • As soon as the incident takes place, get in touch with the nearest SBI General Insurance branch office/contact them via their toll-free number 1800 22 1111/send ‘CLAIM’ to 561612/send your details to customer.care@sbigeneral.in and inform them about the unfortunate mishap
    • Raise either a cashless claim or a reimbursement claim request
    • The insurance personnel you get in touch with will provide you a claim number/id.
    • You will have to provide the necessary details and submit the documents for processing your claim request
    • The Claims Executive will contact you within 24 hours of raising the claim request to whom you will have to submit the copies of the necessary documents and get them verified against the originals
    • Then, SBI General insurance will initiate your claim settlement process and your claim will be settled within 30 days, starting from the day the final survey report was submitted along with the necessary document
