    • Bajaj offers complimentary service, insurance, and warranty scheme on the Dominar 400

      Bike manufacturer Bajaj is offering the 5-5-5 customer benefit scheme to individuals who purchase the Dominar 400. This scheme offers five years of complimentary insurance, five complimentary services, and free-of-cost warranty for a period of five years. This offer is valid until 31 December 2018.

      The scheme, which is named ‘Goodbye 2018 Offer’ by the company, was earlier offered on the Platina 100ES. With regard to the free services, the company has mentioned that three complimentary services will be provided during the first year of purchase, while the remaining two services will be provided during the second year of purchase. However, labour charges are exempt for all five complimentary services.

    • Sales of passenger vehicles drop by 3.43% for the month of November

      The sales of passenger vehicle dropped by 3.43% at 266,000 units for the month of November after it marginally increased by 15.5% in the month of October.

      According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), tight liquidity and low consumer sentiments were the major reason due to which the sales were affected.

      The overall exports also suffered as it fell by 23.69 per at 48,652 units for the month of November as compared to 63,757 units it recorded in November 2017.

      According to the data revealed by SIAM, the commercial vehicles saw its sale rise by 5.71 per cent to 72,812 units in November 2018.
