    VIP number registration process

    • Visit the Bangalore RTO website to go through the list of the two-wheeler VIP numbers that are available for registration.
    • In order to check the list you can either choose the RTO as Bangalore or select any other preferred city in Karnataka. Mention LMV-Non Transport as the type of the vehicle and hit 'Submit'.
    • Next, from the RTO you have to get a 46 AA form and prepare a Demand Draft by your RTO name. While, for current series of two-wheelers and four-wheelers you have to pay Rs.6, 000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively, for future series the amount is Rs. 25,000 and Rs.75, 000.
    • Once done, you have to submit the form together with the Demand Draft at the RTO and make sure to be available during the draw. In case, there is no other applicant for your requested number, the RTO will either provide you the receipt or hand back the DD.
    • In the event your requested number happens to be one requested by others as well, the RTO will invite you for the bidding of the same.
