    How to Apply for a Learner’s Licence in Madhya Pradesh

    • You will first have to visit the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department.
    • Once you are on the website, you will have to click on ‘Online Services’ and then click on ‘Licence Application and Appointment System’.
    • On the redirected webpage, you will need to click on ‘New’ under Learner’s Licence,
    • Upon doing so, you will be redirected to a webpage with the learner’s licence online application form.
    • You will need to select your district RTO on this page and key in the required information into the form.
    • You will also have to select the class of vehicle for which you wish to obtain a learner’s licence and book a slot for the learner’s licence test.
    • Once this is done, you will have to click on ‘Apply Learning Licence’ at the bottom of the page.

    Documents Required:

    To obtain a learner’s licence, you will need to submit the following documents:

    • Form 2
    • Form 1 and Form 1A
    • Three recent passport-size photographs
    • Proof of address
    • Proof of age
    • A fee of Rs.150 for every class of vehicle that you select on the application form and a fee of Rs.50 for the learner’s licence test will have to be paid to the RTO

    On the date of your test, you will need to visit the RTO. The Licencing Authority will conduct the learner’s licence test at the scheduled time. If you clear the test, your digital data will be captured and you will receive your learner’s licence.
