Buying Two Wheeler Insurance For TVS Vehicles:

A two wheeler insurance is a mandatory document that the owner of the vehicle has to own if he/she has purchased a vehicle.

Two wheeler insurance is majorly classified into two types available in two terms.

    • Third-party policy - Annual or long-term
    • Comprehensive policy - Annual or long-term

A third-party policy is a must purchase if you are not buying a comprehensive policy. It provides cover against the legal liabilities and financial expenditure if the owner of the insured vehicle causes damage or injury to the third-party. A comprehensive policy provides cover for both the owner and the vehicle for accident, third-party liability, natural calamities, man-made calamities, theft, burglary, etc.

There are a number of riders or optional covers available for comprehensive policy. Since riding on two wheeler is risky especially on Indian roads, a pillion rider cover can be purchased to ensure their safety as well in case of an accident. Other rider options are anti-theft device cover, zero-depreciation cover, roadside assistance cover, no-claim bonus cover, personal accident cover, key replacement cover and return to invoice cover.

Today, everything is digitised ad technology has made work easier and faster, while making humans lazy and physically inactive (in most cases). While you can buy insurance online, compare different insurers etc. the insurer also provides cashless claim facility which you can avail at any point in time day or night, if you have met with an accident or need mechanical assistance for the vehicle. The insurer will have tie-ups with a number of hospitals and garages in various locations where upon intimation can send assistance to your location.

The premium for two wheeler insurance is very affordable and for a small amount, the coverage provided is vast and beneficial. If you want to ride tension free and fines for not owning an insurance, purchase insurance today and secure your bike from unwanted damages and expenses.
