Designed for those travelling to Schengen countries, the Schengen Travel Insurance Policy has 2 plans – Basic Plan and the Standard Plan. The Reliance HealthWise Insurance Policy comes with 3 plan options – the Standard Plan, Silver Plan and the Gold Plan. The policy offers coverage for hospitalisation expenses, nursing expenses, ambulance expenses and expenses of the person accompanying of the policyholder for a maximum of 5 days. However, the policy does not offer coverage for HIV/AIDS related treatments, medical conditions that arise from abuse of alcohol or drugs, vaccination expenses, and hospitalisation caused due to nuclear war or war in general.
This policy offers coverage for 10 critical illnesses, and policyholders can choose a policy tenure between 1-3 years.
